Forza Horizon 3 Wont Download
Hi, there is a problem with the Forza horizon 3 download, it stops due to an error and then won't resume just starts again from the start, same thing happens if you pause it or lose internet even without an error, can't resume making it impossible to download, don't have fibre so would take a very long time, no way of downloading it in this state. Not my account asking on behalf of a mate who has bought it and is having the problem. Error code is 0x80070005 but does it if paused or lose connection to ISP also.

It needs to be made resumable, but just like windows updates sometimes it appears resume is disabled/won't work.
Got Forza horizon 3 yesterday have successfully installed the game onto the xbox one from the disc, after launching the game i was given a 7GB update. I selected update now, the update wont progress it is stuck on 0.0b (0%) and not progressing it has been like this for 24hrs i have restarted the console, power reset and uninstalled the game twice. EDIT. OK to fix this it appears you need to free up over 100GB on your HDD. With just 50GB free if it stops downloading it will delete itself, with over 100GB it will pause and resume no problem. Perhaps it is calculating space needed to download and install whilst keeping the downloaded files, which would be 98GB, and if you don't have it it deletes everything, same might apply to a person on another thread who is stuck in an infinite download were it fully downloads then deletes itself, this is exactly what major windows updates do if you try installing updates without the space, they start to install then revert to a previous install and delete themselves.
Hopefully this is resolved now. PS you must free up the space BEFORE you start downloading, if you free it up whilst still downloading, it will still delete itself.
